The CHS Approach
The Complete Human Strategy is based on 6 pillars of wellbeing. You can read about the 6 Pillars here.
The CHS is a cultural approach to wellbeing that will take time to embed in your organisation, but you'll start to see the sea-change straight away.
Step one is to train leaders in the CHS philosophy, and ensure the programme has leadership commitment and strategic fit.
Step 2 is to nominate the right people to be a CHS Lead, then these important people are trained to deliver the programme. Usually you will have one CHS lead per school, but larger schools may decide to have more.
CHS leads will work with senior leaders to create a CHS Well-being Plan for the organisation, which is a continuously developed and improved over time, in response to regular, structured engagement with staff, pupils and families.
This engagement follows a half termly cycle, working through the pillars, using key tools and moments to ask "how are you?".
We provide a full toolkit of resources that enable school leaders and CHS leads to deeply embed the complete human strategy over the school year, from assembly packs to surveys and action planning resources.
In your first year you'll receive the "Working Towards the CHS" badge. At the end of the year, ASSET will assess your progress and award the full CHS accreditation so that you can display the CHS badge on your website.

Our Standard school package is an annual fee that covers:
One day training for your Headteacher
One day training for your nominated Complete Human Strategy Lead(s)
Access to all of the resources you need to implement the CHS and network membership with newsletters and webinars over the year
Accreditation at the end of the year - if successful you can use the CHS logo on your website when you renew your subscription each year
If you take up our Gold school package you can take advantage of a day of bespoke consultancy support. This can be taken flexibly to suit your needs.
MAT Packages
If you would like to implement the Complete Human Strategy across your trust we offer the following:
Initial consultation with one of our CHS experts, that will give you guidance on embedding the CHS across the trust. Our Gold package gives you two full consultancy days, resulting in a report recommending how best to implement the CHS. Our standard package offers one day, with advice and guidance on the best way forward.
We'll deliver bespoke training days for your trust leaders and headteachers, and for your CHS leads, on your site.
A full accreditation day at the end of your first year will give further guidance on how to deepen the impact of your work.
